    Twitching Above Left Knee

Hi there,Ah the dreaded hot spot.My anxiety was sky high over the same issue (mine was the second post you reference). It went on for a couple of weeks straight. Then, as quickly as it came, it left. And yours will too, just give it time.

    Experiencing Thigh Twitches?

Hi Will,If you look at my recent posts, you'll see that I've been having the exact same issue. Same area and everything. And same pattern of being bad, quieting down, leaving, coming back, etc. I know it's unnerving. It has been for me. Apparently this is a normal hot spot, so we shouldn't worry...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

Thanks guys. I recognize how awful I seem, believe me.Crossing my fingers that I get accepted into the program. I think that no matter what, it would be a good thing.Guess after all my EMG tests. I can say I'm pretty much a human pin cushion - lord knows it should not have come to this, but i...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

I am taking Zoloft and seeing a psychiatrist. Neither have helped thus far. I am also applying to a nearby facility for an inpatient mood & anxiety disorders program. So, I really am trying.Would you guys agree that I'm at the point of requiring inpatient care? Am I that far gone?

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

So, over yesterday and today, the twitch has lessened quite a bit. Still happening a couple or a few times a day, but much less than before. Of course, I'm constantly waiting for it to return, which has put my stress level sky high.Is this normal for a hot spot, that it calms down, then goes...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

Another question for you guys - do you find that when you have a hot spot or certain twitch over which you're obsessing, you also notice that you start to be able to feel your pulse there? This might not make sense everywhere, but with my knee, when its bent, I consistently feel it pulsing...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

I have. It slows them down a bit, but they don't totally go away.Surely with how much twitching there's been, I would have to have weakness of some sort, regardless of muscle compensation, right?

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

Thanks to everyone who has replied. I'm sorry if I'm getting on anyone's nerves with these posts, but truthfully, I find that when I'm in such a worked up state, posting here is the best healthy thing to do. Otherwise I might be half through a bottle of wine right now.First off, yes, I am and...

    How Many Had EMG Facies?

Well, now in addition to the continuing hotspot above my right knee, my whole right leg seems to be having one-off twitches pretty consistently.I have to wonder whether my mind is messing with me....like "ha ha, no EMG in right leg, so I'm going to twitch there now!".Possible?

    How Many Had EMG Facies?

I don't know why, but in my 7 EMG tests, the twitches didn't show up. Not once. I would twitch like crazy beforehand, but then as soon as I got in there, nothing. I think they were playing tricks with me.Anyway, it really doesn't matter if they show up or not. I almost want mine to do so in...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

I know, 7 really does seem excessive, but they have made sense to me at the time.I'm just going to call the neurologist I just saw and ask him about this. Best solution, I figure. I just keep trying to tell myself that the twitching wouldn't come first. I know that some people debate that, but...

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

Going on about day 5 of this over the knee twitch. Really getting to me. I have to wonder if my obsessing about it brings it on?

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

    Twitching Knee: Worried or Not?

Hi all,I think I know the answer to this, but please indulge me. Question has two parts.1 - I have had a multiple times a day twitch on the inner side of my right knee for a couple of days. No other symptoms noted in that area. Just a hot spot, and nothing to be worried about?2 - I had, as it...

    Navigating Sudden Onset Twitches

Ok, first of all, sounds like you unfortunately got stuck with a rotten neurologist. I'm no expert, but widespread twitching is NOT less indicative of ALS?! Surely he jests. That is wrong. Full stop. Incorrect information.I have been lucky with the general neurologists I've seen, as they do seem...
