Welcome Back! Updates On Health & Twitches

I too believe that our systems have been ramped up and were not allowed to calm down like they should... Like running a fever when sick. The body responds like it should when sick but then returns to normal when the infection is gone. BFS along with all its secondary symptoms are, I believe...

    Shaking it All Up!

Kinda scarry... but nothing to worry about. I have had this too and still have it but, with time and control over your anxiety, it will get better. I encourage everyone to do meditation daily and accept what is going on now... it is part of you but does not mean it will stay. Stop the worry...

    Numbness, Tingling, Night Tremors

I think that this is pretty common... I have had it for several years now. I exercise a lot and when I do the shakes increase... like when you are doing a sit up and holding it... did some yoga a few years ago and hated it becuase of the shake while trying to old the streach. I am very strong...

Amen. I don't check this site too much anymore but I am sure glad to see Basso back on. The best wisdom and advice given to me during my "suffering" days of BFS several years ago, was from Basso. I still have BFS but really don't care anymore about it... it is just there and part of my...

Welcome! New to Twitching, Sleep Issues

I really think that insomnia is a BIG instigator of twitching. Get good sleep and your twitches will decrease (not go away). Take sleeping pills from your MD if you have to, short term. Loss of sleep is far worse than taking an occational sleeping pill.

    Magnesium: Treating Symptoms or Not?

Never drank diet sodas (don't drink them at all), don't use sweetners. Twitch like crazy in the legs and feet. I think that there are some who respond to Mag but most do not. There is no harm in Mag at suggested amount and it is not expensive... so give it a try and try several types and see...

Posting for 1st Time: BFS Since Last Spring

All part of the package of BFS for many of us. Keep on going and don't let it slow you down... The weakness is only in your head and not real (the twitches are real). My fingers do this as well... my big toes really go to town. It is okay.... take it from us as we have been there.Chip

Normal for BFS: Tremors & Trembling

All part of the package with your weird ongoing trip with BFS. It will get better, but you may have times that you feel it again. I think that most of us with BFS get this especially early on. Anxiety really sets it off.Don't worry... it is all part of the same benign problem.Chip

Asking About Autoimmune Symptoms at Next Appt

I suggest a search on this web site. There was a string on this about a year or so ago. Someone was on it for twiching and I don't think that it helped. It has been used in Crohns disease with some success.I hope it works for you and, if so, more of us may try it.
