I've taken 5000 UI a day nearly every day for 3 years and it barely keeps my numbers normal. When I first had my vitamin D checked at the start of BFS it was 11 which is extremely low. I maintain the mid 30s now. I think it's helped me a lot with overall inflammation/BFS symptoms. It might...
I just realized that my 3rd year of BFS went past in October and I never posted an update. I like to post updates so new people can have more reassurance that things will get better. I'm still doing great. I still twitch and have annoyances but my anxiety about BFS is pretty much nonexistent...
The fact you said "I feel like my right hand is weaker" is a dead give-away of this being BFS. People with *** don't say "I feel", they say "I CANT". "Feel" indicates a sensory symptom. MND has nothing to do with your sensory nerves. The "strength", frequency, timing, and location of fascics...
I'm posting this update to hopefully show any scared newbies that might come along that things do get better. It's been two years since I joined this forum and definitely beyond 2 years since the start of my BFS symptoms. I still twitch and deal with BFS daily but I'm doing so much better than...
I'm about the same Matt...unfortunately right when I started counting my calves started going nuts (or maybe it's the first I've paid attention to it in a while).
I don't bring it up. I don't really expect them to understand the extreme level of anxiety (I wouldn't wish that on anyone) that came with BFS for me. When I was at my worst it felt like nobody understood (that's what is so valuable about this community...we understand). Since then, it's come...
You don't have bulbar. Sore throat and globus sensations are not a symptom of MND. However, they most certainly are symptoms of acid reflux and globus is worsened by anxiety. Nothing you've listed is a symptom of MND. I've had throat twitches on and off for 2 years, it is very common for...
Unfortunately I've had a lot of general joint/tendon related pain for about 10 years now, so it's difficult to say for sure, but I would say pain and muscle cramping is my biggest annoyance on day to day basis now. I'm a male but I have had a doctor suggest I may have Fibro. This type of thing...
I can confirm the light-headedness in a store. This happens to me. When you're extremely anxious you are attuned to things you wouldn't normally think much of. Anxiety is your biggest hurdle in this situation.
