Weird Shakiness in Muscles After Exercise

You know after you exercise you get that weird shakiness feeling in your muscles like you are not going to be able to move them right they feel really strange. I have been having this alot any body have this? It scares the day lights out of me. I not even exercising and this is why I am concerned my muscles also ache a bit.

Thanks Pam

Pam,

Yes I experience what sounds like similar things as you. Do you feel when you're walking that your legs are getting tight...like you just ran a few miles? Is it in your calves and thighs?
Are you stretching and taking baths? i'm finding that backing soda baths really feel good on the muscles?
I think it's important to read the body accurately. if your feeling tight stretch and exercise carefully.
I'm trying to build up slowly the "exercise intolerance" threshhold. But i think it's important to do this slowly
Keep me posted.
Best,
Mark

It's more of a shakiness inside like your muscles are going to give out they don't feel in balance. I can't describe it any better than if you just had just done a virgorius exercise and your muscles feel weird after shakey inside but the only thing I'am not exercising so why am I getting this sensation. Is this weakness that whats alarming me? My emg was fine benign facs. I hope it was not to soon for the emg I had it done 3 weeks into this twitching it has been 4 months now. Also why is a year marker so impotant to all? Should I be concerned?

It truely sounds like, from what you're saying, that your muscles are tight. Tightness creates all the things you've described. Shaky from the inside etc. I know a lot of people on this site would concurr.
Have you tried light stretching of your legs muscles?...nothing too heavy. Baths with baking soda is gentle and effective
Treat yourself. Relax. A little meditation. Breathe....
We're in this thing together. Be gentle with yourself. love yourself. It goes a long way.
I'm trying as well.
I'm glad you're reaching out. It's very important, so don't feel bad about that.

Please read my post in the "Questions About BFS" and "Hand Tremor" topic..this sounds like what you are experiencing. I weed-eated about a month ago and shook up until the next day afterwards...kinda scary, but I can tell it is brought about and made worse with stress...

I have all kinds of shaking, and have for the last year and 1/2, and it started right when my fascics did. I used to worry about it, but not any more. I suspect that some kind of tremor might come along with BFS in some cases. Seems that several of the people on here have the same thing.

Rest assured there are others on the board who experience something similar. My life with twitching has seemed to evolve somewhat. Some days I have electrical shock sensations, other days I have twitching, while still others I have more jerky movements after using a muscle.

I ALWAYS experience shakiness in my left arm after carrying my twins to the point where I was constantly questioning myself on whether it was a sign of weakness. I also measured my arm for a short time to see if there was a discrepancy in size from one month to the next. I have twitched for almost twelve months and noticed no significant change. I also had a normal neuro exam last month.

I think what you are experiencing is very similar to what others of us have felt. While I haven't had an EMG, my neuro exam was normal and he did not recommend one so I am trying not to focus on it anymore and just enjoy life!

Good Luck!

I used to think the tremor was weakness as well...I'm now convinced it is not, as the tremor is no worse than then (1-1/2 noticed all over), and I have no clinical weakness (knock on wood). I have noticed recently that my tongue will tremor, not when I lift it up, but as I let it down a little. I have been doing all the weird "tests" with my tongue recently that I used to not do, so that's probably why I never noticed it. I can't tell it tremors unless I let it stick out a little while.

After 3 years of BFS, I have also had the shakiness. It will go away. It will also come back and you hope it only lasts a short time. I have tried to figure out what triggers it. Is it hormones, something I eat, something I'm missing in my diet. I went a long time the last time with twitching only. Then bam, there it was. The tired muscles and they felt almost like they were working so hard inside my body. They were tired. It lasted 5 days and I just layed around and pouted. It's annoying, but it's BFS. Val
