Well i have had the twitching.and still do.i have had the electrical zaps, the pains in my hand feet and everywhere else in between. The most debilitating is the problembs with my left leg.The calf muscle has become painful due to the muscle getting Knotty(if you know what i mean)which in turn makes it feelstight so hence uncomfortable. After i have been to work all day(i walk miles)my leg really aches to the point i dont know where to put it to make it feel comfortable.Anyone else had this kind of thing or am i on my own with this one :(

You are far from the only one with leg issues. I'm fortunate enough (LOL) to have the tight calves with both legs, but my left hamstring always has a tight sensation like it has been over worked or over stretched, leaving it feeling constantly pulled and uncomfortable YUK!!! I have a right ankle that likes to get real stiff and can feel very awkward to walk on when its like this. Leg issues are far from un-common with BFSers and I'm sure others will chime in on this as well.So no worries about being the only lonely on this one, not the case. I'm one year in myself, some things are better, some things are the same, nothing is worse, such as the way BFS goes :D) Take careRobynn :D)

Same here. My right calf constantly feels as if it´s been overworked. I´ve been resting my leg on a hot water bottle in the evenings. It helps a litte. Don´t know what to do when summer comes around though....

My calves feel "knotty" very often and especially when I am jogging. I have to be careful as one or the other will "catch" sometimes as if it is going to knot up completely and painfully. Have you talked to your doctor about meds to help? My BFS has unfortunately added the "C" or cramping aspect of it. To combat this, I take diltiazem (180 mg, extended release) which seems to help. If the cramping is bad enough, I have a muscle relaxer - baclofen as back up, though I don't take it very often. Not advocating either of them, but they work for me. I have also tried a heating pad wrapped around each calf in the evening and I think that helps some, too.

I have had all the nerve pain many speak about and was going to an Osteopath who massaged my muscles and it did help.I havn't been for a month and the pain i get in my left leg is getting worse with stiffness, tightness and knotted muscles.I am going to the docs again next week. The last time i went with this issue but much milder he gave me 2 weeks of Ibuprofen and Paracetomol which did absolutely nothing.they are going to have to come up with a plan for this as my job means i walk miles in a day and i find i have to stop and give the leg a rest from time to time.I am also going back to the Osteopath but it becomes very expensive.
