Twitching Toe - Has Anyone Felt It?

I have had a twitch for the past two weeks that keeps making my little toe on my left foot actually move. Has anyone ever had this twitch? It's driving me crazy!

ugh. I do not envy you. It's so annoying to be laying on the couch trying to take a nap and have my little toe dancing to its own beat.

Just think of it as a foot massage. That's how I eventually got over my calf twitches. Hey wow, my body is deciding to massage itself. Thanks, body! :D)

My second toe has been doing a little tappa tappa lately. It freaks me out to see it happen. My fingers do this too. BFS normal, right? Even oldtimers need reassurance every once in a while. :D)

My right index finger has been recently doing exactly the same as others have described in this thread. Because I have had BFS for so long now, and because this finger has done this weird moving-by-itself thing on and off for so long, it does not trouble me in the least and doesn't make me feel even slightly anxious. Nor should anyone else with this kind of symptom feel worried - a twitch that is strong enough to move a digit is not occurring in a diseased/ dying muscle. I do understand how new symptoms like this trigger anxiety - I have started getting a lot more mouth/ lower lip twitching recently which is a new symptom for me and, because I was not familiar with this new symptom, I did experience a mild recurrence of worry and unhelpful thinking, along with the habit of gazing at my mouth in the mirror as well as whistling periodically to make sure I still could! I did choose happy tunes to whistle though so that was at least a little therapeutic... Python's "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is a good option!CheersSimon

Simon, I have done the whistling self test too. I am grateful that all my symptoms head to toe hit within the same four week period so it is hard for me to consider anything "new." Krackersones

Yea, both my big toes move to and fro. If I look closely, though, it is being caused by fine tremors in the muscles between the big toe and heel. Its pretty constant now and has now joined my calves in the "non stop" category of twitching. My fingers occasionally get the to and fro movement also. In fact, this all started by a to and fro in my right ring finger some 14 months ago. Seems very BFS-ish to me as long as strength is not an issue and I am guessing it isn't for you either.

Thanks for the responses. Have you guys ever had a finger/toe move constantly for weeks on end? This little toe swaying to it's own little beat is really starting to be quite uncomfortable. It does a little shimmy ever few seconds,

i had a twitch on the side of my foot that moved my pinky. lasted for three weeks and made me a bit nervous but in the end it was just another hotspot that went away...
