Twitching Feet & Toes

Hi there,Just wondering if anyone out there has lots of twitches in their feet and toes. What I've noticed is my right foot has constant twitches in different small muscles in the arches of the feet and also sometimes in the toes.In my left foot, I notice a constant "pulsing" twitch on the top of my foot. I swear if I put my two fingers on it it feels exactly like a pulse and doesn't go away until I flex the foot, then after it is relaxed it comes right back. Also have noticed that my left foot feels much more "there". Like I notice a lot more activity and it feels sort of pressure and the toes twitch and I've even had a little jerk here and there in the ankle. Anyone else have anything similar..? Please respond as I feel very scared and alone.

I have seen my muscles twitch in my feet and felt the sensation that goes with it when it happens. Everyday I feel this sensation somewhere on at least one of my feet at almost any given moment so I know something is twitching but I just can't see it. The feeling can be described as a buzzing, popping etc. I am also familar with touching it and feeling a pulsing sensation. To verify if it is a muscle twitch or my pulse, I sometimes try to feel the same location on the other foot. Sometimes I realize I am actually feeling my pulse but other times I know it is a nerve acting up.When I first discovered this site and was reading through a lot of posts, I remember seeing lots of references to 24/7 foot twitching.Hope this helps you feel less alone.Krackersones

No need to panic. My feet go 24/7. They feel like popcorn most of the time. The pulse feeling you feel probably is a pulse--there is an area on the top of the foot where you can feel one. Feet twitching is very common!!!!! My husband who did not even know that he was twitching has the arches of his feet twitching most of the time. He does not feel them but I can see them. It does not bother him at all. I wish I was more like that. LOLSue

Thank you all for the kind responses.....This is so scary to me because I have Huntington's Disease that runs in my family and I've just recently started this twitching all over. I was okay with it until I started noticing little "jerks" in my left foot, which is a common sympton of HD. How do all of you deal with the fact that these symptoms mirror many other deadly diseases. I find myself most days up and down....a lot. I'll be fine one minute and then the next I'll be a scared mess. It's so nice to have a board where I can come and talk about this and give myself some reassurance. Thanks again!

The fact that when you contract the twitching muscle in your foot it stops is a very good sign, one the key indicators if a twitch is bengin or symptom of neurlogical disease is if you can stop the twitch my contracting the muscle, yours is a good sign.
