Twitching Feet and Calfs: BFS?

My feet and calves twitch 100% of the time. In the morning when I wake up they are popping and thumping so hard I think my feet will fall off. Throughout the day they continue to twitch but not as hard. I also twitch all over at random times throughout the day, too. I think it is all part of BSF.

jojoj,
Welcome. Yes what you are describing is very typical of BFS. I had weak sensations in my legs sometimes the right then the left sometimes both and I also had twitching constantly in my arches and my calves. You do not have ALS you have BFS. Have you made an appointment with a doctor to get yourself checked? You should strictly for peace of mind.

But as far as your question, yes that is BFS. Read some of the backposts and BFS in a Nutshell and you will find alot of comfort there.
Best,
Kit

My calves never, ever stop, they pound so hard sometimes I think I can actually hear them. My feet buzz a lot too with the fast twitches so welcome to the bfs club, you are totally normal!!!

Hi JoJoJ
I've been twitching for about 2 months now..maybe a little bit more...and I def. had percieved weakness for the first couple of weeks...I def. had it before I saw the Neuro. and got the all clear and then I did have it for a week or two afterwards (prob. whilst I was making myself to believe what she told me...that there was nothing wrong with me other than benign twitching...now it is pretty much gone.
I echo Kit's comments...if you haven't seen a Neuro., go and get some piece of mind!
My anxiety was AWFUL (lying awake at night thinking about all the BAD things that could be wrong) but it is much improved now.
