Twitching & Bulbar ALS: Facts & Fiction

goodday all,I have been twitching for 6 months but everytime I get here I read something that upsets me.Like people tellling that there are people who suffered twitches years or many moths before finally getting dx with ***.Can someone set straight what is right and wrong about this. I also read that EMG does not clear out bulbar als. If you are twitching can it be due to bulbar als but not be very clear yet? Keeps concering me.

If you are twitching, and it is due to als, you will have abnormalities (in addition to fascics) on emg. You will not have a normal emg.Take care,Gary

If the EMG is done on the tongue and in that general area, it does clear out bulbar.
