Twitching Between Thumb and Finger

Yesterday I had a twitch back side of hand between thumb and pointer finger. The twitch was strong enough to slightly move my thumb and finger. I know the mantra of a twitch is a twitch, is a twitch. However, first time that has happened to me and first time it has moved a body part...is this common with bfser's?

Yes, its very common and has happened to me a thousand times. I found these twitches particularly interesting the first few times as well. As opposed to other "quick fire" twitches, these sometimes appear in more of slow, almost cramp/spasm action. I usually get these when using a keyboard at work.

Yeah, I get it too. My hands do this quite a lot, particularly in the afternoon. one finger will dance back and forth for a little while. Also get it with my toes.

Thanks for the replies...every new thing that happens is aggravating...so far my tounge has not twitched, but I'm counting down the days till that happens too.

I've had the finger twitching for a month now. It started in my left pinky finger and then to my left thumb and index finger. The twitching in my fingers feels different than twitching in other places. For some reason it's more annoying. I can see the muscle in my hand below my finger move and that causes my pinky finger to move out sideways, sometimes very slowly. There's also a fluttering feeling in my hand that comes and goes in that same muscle below my pinky finger. So weird! I keep thinking, is this how PD starts? Ugh!
