Twitches, Anxiety and A Year Later - Help Needed

I have had mouth issues along with anxiety about 2 months after twitching started. I have had 2 clean emgs and clear mri and it's been a year. I get finger twitches in thumb and index finger 20-40 times per day. Back, feet and legs also hurt( joints too). Does anyone have a similar experience. I've been given reassurance by my neuro but my body feels like crap. Randy answered my last post, thanks Randy. Anyone else out there willing to share? it would do me a lot of good right now. The mouth and tongue stuff is bothering me, it's pretty constant but at different levels. Can this be anxiety or has anyone experienced this with anxiety?

Hey jet, thanks for the response. I see a specialty neuro here and he is as good as it can get unless I got to the mayo or somewhere like that. I just got my 3rd emg over the coarse of a year of symptoms. it was of the of the lower extremities and i had it 2-3 weeks ago. He said it looked great. It was really fast, maybe 7-10 minutes( just the needle part). I even asked him about it and he said " this software is state of the art and I've done so many I know where the holes are" whatever that meant. I also asked point blank about signs of **s and he said" none, everything looked great". He did seem much more familiar with the emg and did something a litle different than my other neuro. He seemed to move my legs around with his hands while telling me to move my muscles. Just seemed more touchy of an emg. Other than that it was pretty much the same but faster. I don't know if those that have had emgs if that sounds normal. Well my back legs and feet & leg joints hurt more now it seems( the mouth stuff is just mentally taxing). Anyway, I really apreciate you taking time to answer me.

No problem. Sometimes questions go unanswered if readers aren't experiencing those exact symptoms at that moment, but over the past several years there have been TONS of people with all of your symptoms, my symptoms, etc. And ALL of us are okay when it comes to our greatest fears related to these symptoms. Three EMG's is a lot. Hopefully you have found some peace and relief from your anxiety from your neuro's findings.

No tongue problems but lots of jaw tightness and difficulty talking/chewing. Also some facial swelling around my lips - minor but feels weird like an inflamed or tingly feeling.Have frequent pain in my legs (mostly back calf) along with a perceived walking problem especially in my right leg. No clinical weakness.Problems with my right hand as well. Two clean EMGs. Well my last one on my arms was abnormal with findings consistent with ulnar nerve pressure at the elbows. Makes sense because all my shuts rip at the elbows. Kept off them for a few months and right hand problem (using a mouse) got significantly better.Twitching all over with frequent hotspots of activity.Sorry for brevity - I'm on my iPhone.

Wow JC...I had the jaw stuff, the talking and chewing thing ( still do some days ), but I have also had mild swelling around my lips as well. I never brought it up on here because I really didnt figure anyone could relate. Not sure it has anything to do with BFS, but just found it interesting that you said that.

Yeah the lip thing started a little over 2 years ago. Went to my GP who was stumped. She referred me to an oral surgeon who I saw twice. He offered to biopsy it but I declined since I could tell he didn't think it was necessary. Went to a dermatologist twice and she was stumped as well. She offered to biopsy it as well but again didn't think it was necessary so I didn't do it.I read that facial swelling is part of both TMJ and fibromyalgia so I just try to ignore it now. It gets better and worse but is never so bad anyone notices.
