I was thinking today about my new bulbar als symptoms and while meditating I realised that I could beat this. I mean at 12 I had lukemia. At 16 I had lukemia again. Not a remission but a whole new case. At 20 I had multiple strokes. At 24 I went insane, schizophrenia. At 28 I was diagnosed with severe asthma. At 30 I had heart failure. I was diagnosed with parkinsons, MS and limb onset als on my 32nd birthday. Now at 34 I have bulbar als. I've beat them all and will beat this one too.love you all, happy new year.

Is this meant to be taken in a figurative sense or a literal sense? I hope you are just pointing out what health anxiety can make you think you have and that you have conquered all of it. Please let me know as I would like to know that you are alright and that I am just concerned about you.Mary

sorry thought it was so ridiculos that no one would take me seriously. Those were all diseases I diagnosed myself with. Health anxiety at it's best.

Thats what I figured but it is always better to be safe than sorry. Indeed health anxiety can cause you to percieve all these diseases and more. Good luck you will survive this too :D) Mary

Wow - you guys started early with your deadly diseases. I was 27 when I got lung cancer. But it really progressed from there... ;)

I swear I was relaxed until this crap hit at age 37. I've had numerous fatal diseases since. Rosie Odonnell was talking on her radio show today about how she went to the doc years ago because she had colon cancer or a huge deadly tumor on her spine. When she sat she had burning, stabbing pain through her butt. She was sure she'd be dead in a month. The doctor looked at her and asked if she'd recently bought a new car. She had - a Saab which had seat warmers which were switched to the "on" position - and were hot enough in Miami to cause the burning stabbing pain. LOL.

DUDES~! I thought I was the only one who beat all of the horrible illnessess! We are some Bad A.... (well you know)Just today, I had a brain tumor... but it went away just after lunch. The brain tumor isn't so bad as the bone cancer - I had that for like four weeks before I beat it.... I'm still fighting the ALS - its a toughie you know - it encompases so much of my body, it's just going to take some time. Specially since i've got testicular cancer - and i'm going to have to divert some of my energy!Thank you so much for reminding me that I'm not the only one...

Well guys in the last week or two I have had testicular cancer. Did those 'boys' get a work out checking for those symptoms! I was in more pain after I finished the self examination/s than before! see yaRodgerPs also thought I had prostate cancer as well not so long ago, but wasn't going down that road!
