Tongue Fascics: Worrisome?

I started getting fascics on the left side, tip of my tongue. Are tongue fascics more worrisome? I’m trying not to revert back to that place I was when all this twitching, fatigue, and transient stiffness started 4 months ago.

I know there are others on here with tongue fascics, it can happen with BFS. My tongue doesn't twitch, but it does "vibrate", which I think is just a really fast twitch.

Tongue fasciculations are often described as 'ripple-like' movements of the tongue at rest or mild protrusion; however, I HATE this definition of it because it is extremely flawed. First of all, everyone's tongue has a ripple-effect to it while it is at rest (especially after eating or talking - i.e. It is HARD to rest your tongue and prohibit it from moving at all). Second, it is even more difficult to hold your tongue in a 'flexed' position. You will see all kinds of movements around your tongue. In my particular case, my tongue 'twitches' appear after I flex my tongue, then let it relax on my lip. I would not worry myself over this, because I am almost at 4 months as well, and just had my first EMG the other day on two legs and my whole arm. Don't concern yourself with this in the least little way, and most of all do not inspect your tongue. Remember, the closer you look, the more things on your own body will seem foreign to you.

mmimen is right.

I looked at my tongue well over a year ago, saw weird movements and freaked out.

My neuro looked at it, saw nothing. Don't forget, true fasciculations are different from muscle twitches. As mmimen said, it is almost impossible for your tongue to be completely still, esp. for any length of time.

thanks guys. for some reason it was just really a bummer to start having these things in my tongue. the other hot spots seemed to have been slowing down.
