Hi!I have also been experiencing similar problems. For awhile I had the lump in my throat as well which I connected to bulbar *** (of course). It was present pretty constantly for about a week but then went away when I stopped thinking about it and focused back on the twitching which makes me think it is very anxiety related. It is called Globus Sensation and is very common in BFS. I also have this weird mucous feeling in the back of my nose/throat. I like to describe it as a mucous plug. I feel like I'm constantly trying to swallow down mucous, but I can't. When it does come out, it is also very thick like some of you described. Of course I'm thinking it is related to me not being able to swallow as properly, but my rational side thinks it is related to dry air wreaking havoc on my nasal mucosa. I wake up every morning with a bloody nose. The dry air (combined with dehydration) can thicken mucous. Also, I tend to not notice it unless I'm thinking about it. I have also noticed when I am focused on swallowing, it makes a crunching noise/feeling in my throat. This is also common in people with post-nasal drip due to damage to the throat. So now I think all my symptoms are related to post-nasal drip and anxiety. I hope some of that was helpful. Best of luck,V
