Struggling with Constant Eye Twitch

Hi everybody. I`m in my fourth year of twitching and now I found the most annoying place for twitches: below the eye. I feel so stupid talking to someone and having this eye twitch every few seconds. I´m in a depressed mood, because I read somewhere (you know where, sorry...) that *ls sometimes presents even after years of twitching and I`m worried that this is finally it. I twitch almost everywhere but constantly in my left calf and it also hurts. If somebody has time to help me out of this or tell me that this eye thing happend to him or her, I´d be really relieved.

Omg, I have had eye twitches go on for months. One day, like all hotspots, they just suddenly stop. Everyone seems to have a limb that twitches and feels weirder than the others. For me it is my left leg too, and I have had cramping and burning, as well as the twitching. It felt so weak at the beginning that I had convinced myself I was a dead man, but here I am, stronger than ever, and yet it still feels funny. I don't even worry about it anymore, as it has proven itself much more reliable than most of my friends. ;) You are fine, Elin.Basso

Hi Elin!Like yourself I have had the eye twitches, actually my whole BFS experience started this way!! Went for months and months and stopped and spread everywhere!! Now I twitch 24/7 in my calves and random twitches elsewhere, had twitch in right shoulder for a week or so, drove me crazy!! I am 14months along and all is ok!! You are too.Warm regardsSandra(Good to see Basso back!!!)

My twitching has changed over and over again. I've twitched everywhere! I've had this crazy stuff for 13 years this week! Yeah me! You are good! I'm assuming as you mentioned no weakness, no atrophy, only twitching that your lovely little twitches have just moved to a new area! I had one in my lip last week that drove me nuts. We just notice the twitches in more senstive areas, such as the face, tongue, cheeks, lips, etc. As for the knowledge that twitching can exist for many years before the dreaded disease, I have not read that and I do not believe that. I believe that if twitching existed for some time prior to a diagnosis, then there were other more obvious problems such as weakness that were apparent! You will be fine! Relax.StacyDance

For some reason my right eye has started twitching both top and bottom eyelid. It seems to be all the way round and it is driving me nuts.......
