Hi!One little question:How many of you have really met another person with visible, active non-stop twitching? I've seen a few posts were someone has mentioned it (quite a lot including twitching neuros...go figure...) but I would like to know if there's been any more sightings among friends, family or co-workers, people that's not included in our less fortuned club of health anxeity... My wife has got the twitching of the feet, and so has my big brother. It must be a rather normal activity for what I understand. For some reason we just took it a step further. :( So, has there been any happy encounters out there?Best regardsMr IKEA

I have seen multiple people through work encounters with facial twitches (mainly eyelid). I probably wouldn't have noticed it were it not for my twitching awareness.

Hi there Mr Ikea, have never ever met anybody with that condition. My husband gets twitches but they seem to be nothing out of the ordinary and don´t bother him at all. (he is not the worrying type to begin with). But you´re right - it´s interesting to read that quite a few Neuros seem to have this condition. When I first noticed my twitches I read an article about medical students who tend to get BFS. But that is anxiety related. By the way: I love my Poäng Chair...

Yes,My better half twitches visibly quite a bit...especially in the thighs and eyelid. There is also an colleague that was able to show me her calf twitching when I told her about my problem.

i posted it a while ago that a buddy i fish with showed me his calves after i told him i was freaking out about my calves twitching. I thought i had it bad until i saw his, they were non stop and deep compared to mine at the time. He had first noticed it 20 years earlier and it hadnt stopped since as far as he knew, never bothered him for 1 minute. He would have never mentioned it or probably even remembered his did it if i hadnt brought it up. I asked him if he twitched other places and he said i'm sure i do but i don't pay attention to things i don't control.

when telling a friend about my twitching he showed me his calves: they work all the time, go wild all the time, 24/7. he was a very sportive guy. he does not care at all about his twitches.

my doctor says she gets twitches now and then, not constant though.my mom gets cramps that hurt at the soles of her feet before she goes to bed, so does my fiance...those arent twitches though, sorry...

Me!!! My dad has twitching. His calves go non-stop. He also has twitches in his arms. He could care less about it. It wasn't untill I started with this mess he told me he had it for 20 years or more. He has never used the internet so he never thought nothing of it.

I have only seen others with the eyelid twitch. My sister said that during her divorce ( a very stressful time) she did have body wide twitches but subsided after a few weeks. I tell people what I got going on and the just look at me funny.Shelly

Yes - met others with twitches, shakes, etc. Even pets have them (cats and dogs). Most people just ignore them - they don''t bother me either - it is the cramps, soreness, and muscle tension that bother me.
