ok kinda have myself in a whirl wind! I went to blow on my soup and my lips were shaking???? everywhere on my body does, legs arms and now I discovered lips? forget the soup now I can't eat :(

Poor girl... I know, it really sucks. When I talk "too much" (not so much, believe me) or too loud my lips and tongue will tremble (like a tremor). It's a relatively new symptom (didn't have it the first year and a half). I also have shakiness problems with my arms and neck, when contracting those muscles. So, you're not alone...

I had this a lot in my first 6 minths and still get it if my BFS is triggered by something. I even had a weird lip tremor when I smiled.STrange stuff, but benign dear.

Thanks for the posts, I guess mabye im just a hyper shaky person :( Nerves, who knows. I swear I have the weirdest things going on. The good thing is nothing is getting worse but not is getting better LOL! I was doing so good, what happened???? My swallow test is scheduled for the 10th, hope they just say its anxiety.

Im a nut, but at least I can joke with myself over this LOL! RD i swear I read my body like a book ugg! Anyways, thought of you this morning! my foot was just a flickering away!! never stops, still alive and strong though. Ash :D

Oh what I forgot to tell you Ash is that after all the stomach/ esoph tests I have ever done the only diagnosis that I have ever gotten is that I just have a very sensitive digestive system (aka hyper-excitable nerves). I think you might be in that same boat too.

Same here. In fact I would imagine something like 90% of the people here probably have a sensitive digestive system. I don't see how you could have BFS and not have it. I have been through the ringer with tests and poking and prodding over the years, and the only diagnoses I have ever had were "Well there's something called benign fasciculation syndrome" and "There's a chance you might have a very minor form of Crohn's." Which, in real world speak, means "You twitch for no reason, there's nothing wrong with you" and "You don't have Crohn's."Yet here I am five years later, and every symptom continues. Sometimes you just get a hyperactive nervous system and you will never know why.
