thank you for taking time to respond

Hi Terri--

I do get occasional buzzing and slight twitching in my thumbs and little fingers that causes them to move slightly. I'm no longer concerned about those, as weird as they are  , because my neuro jabbed me in both hands (the muscle between thumb and forefinger and outside edge of each hand) during my recent EMG and he found only mild carpal tunnel syndrome and nothing else whatsoever! Of course, my bosses usually bring on the involuntary extension of the middle finger ;) and that is also perfectly normal. . . .

I understand the "mind spinning"--with all these goofy symptoms, my mind is often on spin cycle :) . But from what I've seen here, you have a fairly common symptom and I seriously doubt it is anything other than annoying.

I started experiencing these sxs as well. My thenar and hypothenar muscles twitch all the time now. It also cramps up at times. It is an odd vibrating feeling, not so much a fasciculations. Do anyone perceive twitches before actually seeing them. I often can feel a vibrational feeling followed by visible twitches. Strange feelings that keep me on my toes. Hopes this helps. 8-9 mo twitching.

Reading the forum I am always amazed how similar and specific our symptom complex is. The twitching in thenar, hypothenar, spontaneus movement of fingers, foot arches, calves, the wide spread twitching after waking up and stretching out. I sometimes wonder what would happen if my twitches would suddenly stop, I would probably panic ;) .
I am 9 months down the road now and skated 20 km on natural ice in Holland last saturday. Going for a three week ski trip in the Alps, so I probably live...

I get a buzzing sensation on the right side of my right knee. It comes
and stays for a while and then disapears. I haven't yet discovered if
anything serves as a trigger. Just another part of me that has a short
circuit :)
