Planter's Fasciitis and Arch Pain

Mary, I had the eyelid hotspot not to long ago and my left arch is hurting at this time also. Came back from my neuro visit and she it was probably planter's fasctitis. It could be a shoe problem or you might need a arch insert. I'm going to a podiatrist for mine because of all the walking I do.

Thanks Golfputter,
I have already been diagnosed with tarsal tunnel in both feet with the left being a bit worse than the right. So far have tried the orthotics, tapping of the arches (seems to really help), and stretches... The right foot has come along nicely but the left is being REALLY stubborn....
Just not used to twitching so much in only two places.... kind of miss the random twitches.... Not sure why the eye is twitching so much.... maybe because I've been sewing a lot or not sleeping well.......
Guess I'm just whining today...

Mary, a few weeks ago I was told by my principal that she needed something from me by the end of the day (which gave me about 30 minutes to do it)....very difficult when you have 26 preschoolers in your room. Anyway, it was a matter of no time, my eye started twitching. It went on for hours after. I thought "this may really be caused by stress". I have problems with my left foot, but nobody can find anything wrong with it. My pain in on the top of my foot and in my toes (ankles sometimes too). I don't have much arch pain. The orthopedic dr said it's probably related to BFCS, which he was unaware of. He read my EMG. He thinks it's all neurological. Back to square 1. Wasted appointment.
Have a great day.
Amy

Thanks Amy,
I can understand my left arch twitching so much as the nerve is irritated but can't figure out why my one eye twitches. It starts first thing when I get up in the AM and come and goes all day.... I might go an hour without a twitch and then it starts up for no apparent reason...... Does not seem stress related.... Oh well

Hey,

Eye twitching is basically stress related. Since I have had BFS, I have kept good track of the various twitches I experience and realized that the eye twitch typically involved a lack of sleep and increased stress. It will go away but it could take a few weeks. For me a few nights of 8-9 hours sleep in a row did the trick. Calves are 24/7 but that's another story.

Thanks,
Come to think of it I haven't been sleeping very well for many weeks now. Will fall asleep ok but then wake 3-4 times a night. I'm guessing I only get about 3-4 good solid hours of sleep a night... :crying:
