Neurologist Appt: No *** Signs

All right, so, here's the skinny:I had my neurologist appointment this morning. Naturally, during the appointment, my fasciculations were relatively tame--they've been somewhat dormant lately. He said that my symptoms didn't indicate signs of ***. He also stated that my reflexes were what he considers strong, not brisk, as well as saying that I wasn't exhibiting any weakness after he gave me a few strength tests. He noticed my trembling upon flexing which he described as fatigue--I think I'm just out of shape  .He did suggest I receive an EMG (which I've scheduled for the 27th of December, Merry Christmas and a happy new year to me, right?) as well as getting some blood work done (which I'm going in to receive this coming Saturday).Overall I feel like the DX was positive--I'll reiterate: the doctor did not see signs of ***. I will keep you all posted as far as what the EMG says and what/if he determines anything from the blood work.

Hi Steve,This is good news... Read your 1st post... I too have had to deal with an a lot of sensory rubbish in addition to the twitching.. Just check out my posts...Stay positive, beleive your doc and try and stay calm, can be easier said than done I know, but anxiety will make things feel soooooo much worse....Take it easy.

That sounds very positive Steve and am glad for you. The emg is normal course for everyone on this board as it the blood work so no big deal. I have had this for 14 months and my twitches have gotten worse lately but that is par for the course. Hope you feel better now.Mary
