Yes they showed up,he said benign ones with no other findings what so ever, strange but true. They go more on clinical exam thats the impression i got.

congrats to both you and Trijeff...

Wish I was in the same boat as you guys. I called the neuromusc specialist I saw at umdmj and spoke to his nurse asking for another exam/emg. She called me back after talking to the doc and he said no. He said to go follow up with my GP! I also saw my reg neurologist today and she looked right at my calf and said that *ls twiches look like ripples/waves and that if the guy at umdmj said benign then she agrees. I asked her what to do about it and she said relax and forget about them. Its so freaking hard!!! My calf is non stop 24/7 millions a day. When I wake up in the mid of the night I friggin feel them to! I also swear I see flattening of the calf muscle (but when I showed the neuro she said it was my muscle). I have cramping of the toes as well... not sure what to do.

zny444 my calf twitches are non stop 24/7 unless I take a quinine. Have you tried quinine?

Please stop worrying. Your fine and are going throught he same exact stuff I went through.

You've had your EMG, you've seen your Nuro - your clean buddy.

Now for the hard part - getting your anxiety under control.

I've woken up in the middle of the night and checked my calfs - they looked smaller (they arent really) this led to my crying and waking up my wife - my anxiety was off the blo-ody charts for two weeks and this caused even more twitches.

Do yourself a favor that I didn't do for myself GET YOUR ANXIETY UNDER CONTROL.

Ask us questions, lots, and lots of questions for reasurance if you need to. Talking can help big time.

Also, I can always feel my twitches. - now worries.
