I had a session of physio last week and she used something called an Internx machine on my hip (I have googled this and didn't find anything). She claimed that it provided electrical waves that would stimulate my muscles and release endorphins. It felt a bit like pins and needles - two small metal spheres against my skin.
Well she was right about stimulating my muscles - my twitching (which had pretty much reduced to a few a day) went haywire - all over my body.
I mentioned it at a session yesterday (I declined a repeat performance!) and she did mention that at some 'wavelengths' it could cause muscle contraction.
It all clamed down after a couple of days - but I would not recommend it - a sort of DIY BFS machine!
