My EMG Results: BFS

I was diagnosed with bfs 3 or 4 years ago. Constant twitches mainly in calves and soles of feet. No pain or other symptoms though. I have a follow up EMG every year and I just had my latest one. The tester said nothing much has changed and cant see too much to worry about, but he said he thought I may have a back problem. Which I thought was odd because a) he only tested my calves and b) I have never had any back problems. I noticed when he was entering his notes on his screen he put 'fascics + mild ch dn'. I wondered what it was and thought I would google it when I got home. When I did, I came to the conclusion that ch dn means chronic denervation. What is this exactly? Is it anything to worry about?I have my annual follow up with my neuro in a couple of weeks. Are there any specific questions about this I should ask?

Your back may have some nerve impingement at the lower levels. This would be the lumbar area where nerves run down to your calves. Damage to nerves there can cause denervation on your legs.

I had signs of mild, and probably old, denervation on my last EMGneurologist said it is probably due to chronic mild irritation of nerve roots in neck and backnothing to worry about
