Muscle Fatigue After Exercise

After 10 years of this ****, the twitching is not a big deal. I get them all over and have pretty much gotten used to them. The one thing that I can't stand is the cramping/fatigue/weird feelings I get in muscles especially after a good workout. I have been dealing with this in my right arm since shoveling snow a few weeks ago. My arm feels fatigued and week and it runs all the way up my shoulder and down into the fingers. I've had this in my right arm 4 or 5 times since this started back in 1998. I can still do whatever I want with the arm it just feels so different. Does anyone else ever get this type of sensation after overworking a muscle group and have a long recovery time?

I have the exact same thing with my left (dominant) arm. It definitely feels different than the right. Kind of tight and achy. And it had a slight tremor in the hand. The only thing is it's happening more frequently now. I painted 2 doors yesterday and started to exercise with only 4 lb weights and the whole arm got fatigued and achy from the shoulder blades to my hand. Everything still aches this morning yet there's no clinical weakness as far as I can tell.

Phil-

Sounds like we are in the same boat. I remember a few years ago I was weed whacking the back yard. When I finished my whole arm was shaking like crazy and aching. It took about 3 hours to settle down and really freaked me out. The arm ached for days. After a few weeks everything was back to normal. I was also in the middle of a stressful BFS period at the time. I have been twitching for 10 years so *** does not worry me. PD is still in the back of my mind but it would be unusal for it to come and go like that.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of twitching do you get? With me frequency, location, strength and intensity of my twitches varies greatly although with this past bout the twitches are a lot more subtle than in the past, many barely noticeable.

Mine generally move all over and don't stay in any one place too long. My hands are where I notice them the most since they move my fingers.

My index right finger and thumb are my hot spot. They get to twitching almost anytime I use them. I am especially annoyed when I wipe my assss since I am right handed and my index finger and thumb decide to go into twitch and cramp mode. Top that! Workout....sometimes wiping your own ASSSS becomes a problem.
