Living with Undiagnosed BFS

Hi Everyone,I have visited this site numerous times before when I had my first round of muscle fear and this site helped a lot. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to respond and calm a lot of us down. I'm sure that I, like many others, read a lot of the posts even if we never post.About my problems...I haven't been diagnosed with bfs but know I have it. My first bout with it caused massive arm twitches that quickly moved to random points all over my body. I have not had many issues at all with it lately until this week. Tuesday I noticed that my left calf muscle was hurting quite a bit. At first I thought maybe it was just a sprain but it has stayed with me constantly. I quickly noticed that in addition to left calf pain my foot on that side feels asleep most of the time (I assume this is the pins and needles thing many talk about). This muscle is also twitching now too. Besides all of this, I had a massive charley horse the other night which I would classify as the worst of my life. It lasted for about 5 minutes and hurt a long time after.I take some comfort in the pins and needles feeling since that is sensory which I believe is not related to something worse but I do worry that all of the pain, cramping, and twitching is all in one muscle. I know a lot of people can conclude that they don't have something worse since they twitch all over but this is just one muscle. Can a person have all of this is just one muscle and it still be bfs and nothing worse?I would describe the calf pain as a mixture of feeling fatigued and tense. Kind of like the feeling right after a major charley horse but that pain stays with me most of the time. The only other thing I have noticed is that the pain is most prominent when I am sitting or standing. While walking or constantly moving I don't really notice it. Within the last day my hamstring muscle on that side is hurting now too. I am split on whether or not this is good or bad. Part of me says it is good since something worse would not progress that fast while the other part of me is afraid it is hurting now because it is compensating for some weakness in the calf muscle. I have been doing all the tiptoe tests and not observed any weakness but worry maybe I am missing something.I don't think it is something terribly bad but can't shake the fear since it is all one sided. Anyone else had similar experiences? Does this sound typical for a bfs flare up?

I can tell you that 90% of my twitching is in my tongue and this has been going on for 5 years and I'm still here to talk about it. I would imagine that would be one muscle only so not exactly like your case but doubtful it's anything sinister.
