Left Leg Pains - Help Needed!

Hey all,For the past few days, my left leg has been driving me insane! This is definitely the leg that has given me all the trouble from the very beginning, mainly in my calf. Now, though, for the past couple of days, it hasn't been my calf, it's been the area below that that's driving me crazy! It's kind of "vibrating", I guess you could say...I haven't been able to see it, but I can definitely feel it! And, it definitely has a pattern to it. It will do it every few seconds, for the exact same amount of time!Just wondering, has anyone else had anything like this? Just kind of scared, the way my twitching is evolving...Not really spreading, but just changing intensity, I guess :(

I have had twitching all over since July 08. I still have no weakness. I can relate to all the descriptions of vibrating and intensity changes and locations etc. Having been with this for a long time now I realize that there are phases and changes that are not necessarily progressions. Now when things change, I just see it as a change and do not worry about it as much. I think the changes are due to flunctuations in the many factors that all effect the nerves many of which we do not understand and some which have to do with stress levels both mental and physical. For example, I used to wake up every morning to forceful twitching around my right rib cage. Now I rarely have this but I have more twitching in other places. Having had a bad spot calm down like others describe gives me hope that new hot spots will settle as well.

A timely post from my perspective as I developed this strange vibrational thing going on in my L hamstring this week. I have had twitching for almost 16 months now and have until now never experienced such a weird and disconcerting feeling and never before had symptoms in this body site. The thing that I thought was odd about it was its regularity - I can just about set my watch by when it occurs and how long it lasts. I was just beginning to get somewhat panicked by this new symptom when I read this post.RegardsSimon

After 5 years now of every possible type of constant twich, spasm, vibration, jerk, throb, ache, soreness, cramp, pulsating, burning, cold /wet, numbness, tingling type sensation known to mankind, you WILL eventually get used to it. A bit like your a battled hardened solider returning from 4 years trench warfare ...shellshocked somewhat but ALIVE :D)

Try not to worry...I know easier said than done. lol. But, I've had the vibrations before many times. It feels like you have a cell phone going off inside you. Just another form of twitching. Very annoying to say the least, isn't it?I see you are from Cleveland. I was born there and lived many years in Ohio. My son and his wife live in AvonLake! We are in Chicago now.
