Involuntary Jaw Snapping: Experiences?

Has this happened to anyone ? Ive had this happen seveal times i also have left face jaw ache not sure how to describe it just feels funny, numb like but not numb. I know this sounds silly. Is this part of an early onset bulpar ? I'm thinking every sytom I get will bring me back to square one. I hope someone on here has experienced this Involuntary jaw snapping mouth shut. : /Bill

I have, in recent months and bit my tongue. It happens about the time of the hypnogagic jerk, but also seemingly in the middle of the night. This is in combination with many other body wide twitches. I also get facial twitches, but none in the tongue. I don't think it has anything to do with bulbar. I had a clean EMG this week and am done with the ALS line of thought now.

You ever heard the phrase catching flies whilst you sleep ? It's fairly common amongst all people at some point !

I was very concerned because of issues I've been having with left jaw discomfort and cheek feels weird. But that's good to know it's not an early symptom of bulpar ALS. I think that would have put me over the edge.
