How Common Is Upper Body Twitching?

Just curious as for me, I definitely twitch more above waist than on legs. Not sure how common is that. Last days are pretty bad, movement induce arm, hand, shoulder and back twitches..bit anxious again :(

Mine started in legs, then spread all over, then for some time it had stayed mostly in my arms/shoulders and groins (OK, with aditionally calves) and now it is almost completely gone, I have approx. 10 to 30 noticeable twitches a day( counting the single twitches not hot-spots with more that one twitch in a row, if my finger twitches 5 times, I count "5")

Hmm based on the views/answers ration I assume most people have BFS on their legs..makes me nervous..mine were never so twitchy as my upper body.

In my case, upper/lower body = sameI just twitch everywhere: feet, legs, arms/hands, belly/chest, back, neck, scalp, face. Upper/lower body 50/50.

I always thought upper because that's where I always feel them--scalp, face, neck, chest, abs, biceps, shoulders, triceps, forearms, fingers, hands, and back. Then I realized my feet twitched 24x7--the scary ones that look really bad, and I can see only in the light, but not feel. So I guess I should feel much better about that huh? ;)

I have constant twitching in my calves and feet, but I've recently developed constant twitching in my elbows and forearms as well (started 2 months ago). But I get random pops, machine gun twitches, flutters, above my waist all day long. I'd say I feel a twitch above my waist every couple seconds.-Matt

I would like to revise my numbers to 65% above the waste and 35% below the waste. I am not sure if I just dont care about twitching in my feet, calves, and quads, but I certainly dont notice them as much as the twitching in my neck, face, biceps, forearms, hands and popping back and traps oh, and dont forget abs. Mine all started behind my knee over a year ago..but now I would say apart from my feet and calves which are constant most are above the waist now....

I'm in twitching hell today. My right foot is going non-stop (no exaggeration - non-stop when I'm resting) and is making my toes move. Also my right calf. And, occasionally my left calf but not my foot at all. But, the other night I had a hot spot on the left part of my back (near my arm) that went for hours. It changes, but my right foot and calf hardly ever stop. And today, watching my toes move, has me almost as freaked out as I was a year ago.Mitra

After a year I decided to post something again. I already twitch form 1/4/07 !!And indeed also with me, it started in the feet, spreading upwards in 4-6 moonths al over the body. My legs are rather quiet now and the symptoms concentrate in teh upper part. The last 6 months almost constant twitch left biceps (probably related to an old cervical hernia). But still alive and kicking after almost 6 years.
