Have Any Visited a Chiropractic Neurologist?

I was wondering if anyone here had ever visited with a chiropractic neurologist? I had been thinking about seeing a chiropractor and in my search found that there is actually a chiropractic neurologist here in my home town and he does treat peripheral neuropathies ( numbness, tingling, burning sensations) and so I wondered if it was worth a shot. However part of me things this might just be an desperate attempt to find someone that can make me feel normal again. Any thoughts?

I've never heard of a chiropractic neurologist but it sounds like a good idea - I'd be interested to hear how you get on.RegardsSimon

Monica,I am a HUGE advocate for Chiropractic treatments (just search my posts lolol)...and, I've had GREAT success with proper adjustments and reduced twitching/shakiness/anxiety, and a whole mess of other things...TRY IT!! ~*~Amy~*~

I'd be curious to find out if the neuro chiro uses a specific type of chiropractic, or a mix of a bunch of types. I have been going to one who uses Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC) and I think it worked well for me. It is taught with a focus on neurology and claims to have helped people with various nervous system diseases. I'm in the process of determining whether my improvement is because of the specific chiropractic method of ABC, or different things I've done like cutting out gluten. I moved and the chiro is now really FAR away and I'm trying to see if I can still feel good without driving down there. Of course the chiropracter claims that only HIS method will work, and he's the only one that practices it within 100 miles. Good luck!

I go to a chiro every three weeks, and have been for about a year. He certainly helps with my neck pain issues. Jury is out on everything else. Dont think it has helped with my BFS.cheersRodger

I go to a chiropractor who knows my whole history with this twitching and myoclonic jerking I have been having. I didn't know there was actually a chiropractic neurologist though. She suggested knowing that I take Tuna Omega 3 and also B-12 folic acid along with my usual B complex I have been taking. I cannot say whether that particularly has made a difference or not however since I'm trying several other things at the same time, but it couldn't hurt as it's only supplements.I get adjustments from her every 2 weeks as well. I do know that she is not crazy about any 'chemical meds' but has lots of supplements that she likes to try. She's also big on eating right and she suggests to cut down on sugar as she says that sugar really irritates nerves. I have to admit that I haven't done that so far.
