Grieving Loss of Friend and Colleague

Hi All! I have been away in Lake Powell for vacation, once our houseboat docked one of the marina workers found me and said I had an urgent message, I found out that one of my very best friends(Co-worker) was killed in a river rafting accident she was only 47 years old has two teenage daughters. I drove home thru the night to make it to the funeral that was yesterday. I now realize how lucky we all are to be alive we need to live each day to its fullest without worries but with joy, it showed me how you just never know....you could step off a curb and be hit by a car, go swimming and drown. Life is short and you never know when you walk out of a door if you will return, now I am not saying that BFS does not scare me or that all my worries are gone but I am going to try harder to be positive and live my life to the fullest at all times. Thanks for letting me share you are all the best and have truly become friends....C

Carolyn,

We just PM'd each other and now I read your post.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I'm sending my condolences and love.
You're right. Things happen in life that gives us perspective.
Again, I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

OMG Carolyn:

How tragic.

You are absolutely right about living each day to the fullest. The one good thing about BFS for me has been I don't take life for granted anymore, really I don't.

I'm so sorry.
