Good BFS Doctors: Suggestions?

Does anyone know of any good BFS doctors? I would like to see a doctor who has some knowledge of BFS. I have been told by my GP, that BFS is nothing more than an anxiety induced illness. This, of course, I highly doubt; but, was wondering if anyone knew of any good doctors, in my area, and around the country. I hope to at least find a doctor who recognizes BFS as an actual disease, and not something that I can turn on or off anytime I wish. Also, is there any website that has a listing of doctors that may be knowledgable in dealing with BFS and its symptoms? Thanks!

Hi again, i think lots of doctors do not actually say "BFS". They do say "the twitching is benign". Some may just not be knowledgeable and some may not believe it is a true condition unto itself. But, if you find a good neuro in the Chicago burbs. Let me know.Linda

Linda,I sent you a PM. Dr. Aggarwal is a good neuro. You can visit his site at neurometriks.com. If you tell him that you twitch, he will give you an EMG. He is the only doctor I have met, that has extensive knowledge on these diseases and he is a very nice man, very easy to talk to and be around. He is also out of Northwestern Hospital, which is one of the best. -Michael
