Hello all!I am a 23 year old female and I’ve been experiencing fasciculations almost daily ever since I was 17. I’ve seen a few doctors about this and they’ve told me that I shouldn’t worry about them unless I start having some serious symptoms in addition to them. Well, for the past 7 months at least, I occasionally get a weird pricking pain in my hands, face, fingers, and feet. It’s like someone is poking me with a needle. It only lasts a split second. This only happens every once in a while. There are also times when I’m lying down in bed and watching TV when my foot or toe will slightly jerk. It’s not a big jerk, only a little one. It’s like it will just bend slightly to the side. It’s hard to explain but I’m worried that it’s myoclonus.Does anyone else experience these sort of things in addition to fasciculations? I told myself that I would never start worrying that I have Creutzfeld-Jacob Disease or Lyme disease (I already went through the “OMG do I have ALS???!!!” stage) but now I’m scared.
Thanks in advance!
