Pain seems to be pretty common for most of us. Thought it would be interesting to compare, severity, location, type, etc...

In what body parts do you experience pain?

Is the pain persistent in any one area?

Does the pain remit or is it constant?

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, other?

Much joint involvement or near joint?

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...)

Severity? (1-10, 1 being minor, 10 severe)

In what body parts do you experience pain?
ankle, calves, thighs, forearms, hands, wrists, neck (stiff&tired often)

Is the pain persistent in any one area?
mostly focused in ankle, hands and wrists

Does the pain remit or is it constant?
not there on some days, but comes back without fail

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, joints, other?
usually on tendons, but not actually in the joint. In muscles when fasics are worse - often when under stress.

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...)
Sore to press on tendons in particular localized spot or gen'l irritated feeling (tendons along forearms). In muscles a general ache.

Severity? 3 - moderately annoying, doesn't inhibit functioning, but sucks.

I feel pain in my left shoulder - and I think it is 7, especially after swimming or something. Also in various parts of my body - knees, fingers, calfs...and sometimes my pains are quite strong ( 5 to 7). Recently I have discovered warming - up plasters and they help me.

In what body parts do you experience pain? Left foot mostly, but now in both hands and both feet. Joints, too.

Is the pain persistent in any one area? Hands.

Does the pain remit or is it constant? Intermittent- worse in the morning.

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, joints, other? Sometimes stabbing pains in arms and feet.

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...) Stabbing, but infrequent.

Severity? (1-10, 1 being minor, 10 severe) The aching in my hands and feet that occurs is annoying mostly. Uncomfortable. 3-4

In what body parts do you experience pain?
hands and legs.. legs big time

Is the pain persistent in any one area?
the pain seems to be caused by the parathesia,,, but it may not be.. the pain seems to be in the center of my ankles and radiates into the feet and calves

Does the pain remit or is it constant?
the pain was pretty consistant it kept me from sleeping

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, joints, other?
it seems to be the muscles,, but it feels deep like bone or skeletal muscle pain

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...)
the shock you would feel after jumping of a five story building and it just remains,, my hands are also sore and feel like ive slapped them against the wall over and over

Severity? (1-10, 1 being minor, 10 severe)
10

Pain.
Mostly legs, really painful aching.
Feet. only in mornings.

It remits, but I find it worse after exercise.

Pain is mostly in muscles.

Type of pain: very bad aching. Occassional shooting pains, cramp like feelings in thighs.

I would rate it a 9 on bad days. Good days almost non existant.
It's definately worse after exercise.

fingers, forearms, calves all fairly persistent

Does the pain remit or is it constant?
fingers constant, forearms worsen throughout the day, calves on and off (but always twitching)

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, other?
can't tell, try to ignore as much as possible

Much joint involvement?
no

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...)
varies - but not usually sore to touch. Sometimes a general ache, sometimes throbs, sometimes shooting

In what body parts do you experience pain?
ARCHES! Also: Fingers, wrists, right ankle, back and head

Is the pain persistent in any one area?
My back--but I think I hurt it.
My arches--think it's because they NEVER stop twitching!

Does the pain remit or is it constant?
See above...
I really only notice my arches when I'm walking on 'em (makes sense, right?) :)

Is the pain in muscle, tendons, other?
Seems muscular in back/arches.
Feels like shooting pain in my fingers sometimes
Ankles, head and wrists ache

Much joint involvement?
Hmmm...touchy subject. Definitely joints involved (ankle/wrist/finger) but I'm hoping it's BFS or carpal tunnel and not RA.

Type of pain? (sore to touch, general ache, throb, shooting, etc...)
Never ever sore to touch, except when it comes to my arches.

Severity? (1-10, 1 being minor, 10 severe)
Arches: 6-7-8 when walking
Back - From 2-7, depending on position
Fingers - Intermittent Pain. Between a 0 and a nagging 2 in knuckles.
Shooting pain in fingers is a (thankfully) intermittent 10+
