I thought I would check in and say hello on the day after my 8-year twitching anniversary. Not much has changed, except how I cope with them. Today my right bicep is twitching non-stop—I suppose an anniversary gift, of sorts. So, I thought I would pay-it-forward.Best, as always-Sean

Congrats(weird thing to say) Sean,Our symptoms are a direct match and its great to hear you are doing well. You are an inspiration to so many about how to cope with extreme and seemingly endless fasics.Take Care and keep on twitchin in the free world,Dar

Good post Sean! Thank you for coming back and sharing.I have a question for you. For the last 15 months, I've mostly had the kind of twitching in your video... thumpers. However, I have had those electrical looking twitches in my calves nonstop and I just recently started getting them all over my forearms. Have you ever had that? Its like a flickering. I can barely feel them but when I look at my forearms, I can clearly see the twitching. I first I noticed them in my elbows and now its not only my elbows but both sides of my forearms. They are constant. Have you experienced this at all in your 8 years or not really? -Matt

Matt,The twitching I experience 24/7 in my calves are like random single pokes all over. My insteps look like lightening in a storm cloud. Is that what you are experiencing in your forearms? I have had isolated episodes of that in my forearms, but nothing constant like in the calves and feet. I've pretty much experienced every type of twitch in every single muscle. It's truly a blessing, I have to say.

Sean,Yes, that's what I'm experiencing in my forearms. In each forearm I get a twitch every 2-3 seconds and they appear in different parts of my forearm so not in one spot. I'll get them near my elbow, then on the front side of my forearm, and then on the back... and it just keeps going. They've been doing this nonstop since early June and have picked up in intensity. They are no different than my legs but the only thing that bothers me is that in my experience, this type of twitching sticks around and doesn't go away... like in my calves and feet. Ugggh. -MattP.S. I've been saying that BFS has been a blessing in some ways. I've lessened the anxiety in my life, changed my work schedule which has allowed me to spend more time with my kids.. and last but not least, I've met some amazing people on this board and in the chat room!

Thanks for posting Sean. I have not posted on this board in a really long time. I popped by to see if I still new some names. Sure enough, I do. Glad you good. I'm the same way. I stil twitch but have learned to live with it. Guess we just have to keep moving on.

Hi Sean, I'm glad you're still doing fine after all these years with bfs. I'm always happy to read your posts because we have so many symptoms in common!Just a question: have you ever taken any kind of medication to control your twitching? Something like anti-seizure drugs (even during a short period of time)? If so, did it help you? Just curious...Take care,J.
