My daughter had croup last week and I caught something from her. I did fair at work yesterday and when I got home yesterday started to feel really bad. I took my temp and had one!
I went to urgent care. The doctor thought I was a smoker when he listened to my lungs because I was so congested. I can't get any air through my nasal passages. I can't take decongestants for the same reason I can't take anti dep.; they hype me up and make me freak out. My right ear is draining and I have that lovely yellow stuff coming out of my nose.
He gave me Z-pack antibiotic.
My twitching has doubled since I got sick. All different kinds. Quick hitters, thumpers, little fast flickers, pop corn like, shimmmies. Especially in my legs all down the back of both legs. Is this normal?
It made me think of the post where someone told them that twitching in ALS is diffuse and that's exactly what it feels like in my legs. See another post that scared me. (not the posters fault I know)
My right foot is stiff when I get up but it works itself out.
Does anyone else notice they twitch more when they are sick?
Saturday I did not have hardly any that I noticed. Maybe I noticed three if that and then Sunday when my throat got sore they started hitting me like gang busters.
I'm scared again. I was convinced when I went to bed, "here it is finally knocking at my door wanting me to let it in."
Thanks
Karen
