Arm Muscle Spasm at Desk

Panic here!I was just at my desk this morning and just above my elbow was a very strong spasm while typing..In other words, my arm muscle was in use.. It was not a twitch. It only last about 3-4 second, but hard. This if of course the side that I have still had problem with since my cervical disc replacement in July 2007. It went for a vertical MRI in 43RichyThe43rdson TX, but havn't been able to see the doctor for results yet. It just happend again!!! My upper left lip feels funny and the left side of my tongue hardly stops twitching. It's been on-going for well over a month now. I wanted to not go back to the doctor until after my house warming in July. I wanted to have some happiness for a while. But I am so scared and miserable, I don't have any happiness anyway. Also, last night I had a very storg muscle spasm between my elbow and hand. These locations are new and somewhat different than the others. Any thoughts???Anne B.

AnnieBazemoreI am in Fort Worth. PM and if you like I can suggest a neuro who worked under Dr. Tamosuh and is very familiar with bfs/bcfs. I get the lip sensation and tongue cramping. Maybe we can start forming a North Texas support group. I know there are others in the DFW area.ZekesTraveller :)

I've been having a hard spasm on and off on the outside of on my elbow right below the bony nob on the outside part of the elbow. It will tighten, suck in, release, sometimes a few times, happens at random, not really painfull, just a tightness, lasted a few weeks on and off, havent had it too much recently....Was very VERY annoying though!!

Yes, that is where mine is. This just really stared last night. It so much stronger than usual. I may need to get on some Zloft or something. It is becoming hard to focus on work and anything fun in life. I am going to go bye some wine after work and just watch some sit-coms or something. Thanks guys, you are all my support, Anne

Anne: Isn't it weird what our bodies can do. Don't let it freak you out. It will probably pass and then there will be something else. Go get the wine and spend some time laughing tonight. That will be the best therapy you can do. :) Hopefully tomorrow will be better.BlessingsCindy
