Ankle Clonus - Cause for Concern?

I noticed along with constant vibration in my feet that when I keep my heels on the ground and lift my toes as high as I can, my ankle kinda shakes and vibrates. Is this what it means to have sustained clonus? really starting to freak out

I don't think so, it is about impossible to induce clonus on your own. This could be shakiness we often get with any isometric holding of a muscle - such as in a yoga pose?

Did you have clinical exam?Your Neuro could see some changes in your reflexes and some bad signs like Babinsky specially.Im not sure but i think that clonus is a sign of UMN damage and can occur only when you experience spasticity.

Haven't seen a neuro yet, still debating that one but my gp and a doc at a clinic checked my Knees they were slightly brisk and babinski was negative both times. The clinic doc lifted my foot and rocked my ankles back and forth some and said zero beats of clonus but I'm not sure he did it the way I watched on neuro sites
