All, here is an update:Just returned from my visit with the 2nd neurologist I've seen. The 1st Neuro said it sounded like BFS, but sent me to another Neuro for an EMG. He is a neuromuscular specialist. The EMG/NCV test was uncomfortable, painful (I hate needles), but according to the neuro it was "100% NORMAL". No signs of motor neuron disease or any other abnormality. He tested one arm, one leg, my back, and neck. He checked strength and reflexes which were also normal. He said it was strongly reassuring against anything bad (MND/ALS). He also said if I were twitching for 4 months due to ALS there would almost certainly be weakness by now, as well as evidence on the EMG. I guess that's as close to 100% as I can get.He said I had benign fasciculations, and not to worry. So it's official now.<whew>Jim
