18 Months of Twitching: The Struggle

Hi fellow twitchers! In two weeks I'll be twitching since 18 months. Just want to tell everybody new here, that it is annoying, and that that it could disturb your life - but only if you let it to do so. Trust your doctors when they tell you that it's benign. My calfes are twitching all day long, 24/7, sometimes it rumbles like a machine gun, sometimes it's just a dent here and there. Sometimes I feel it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it feels like small electrical shocks, sometimes like wind blowing over the hairs on the legs.I had every thinkable place twichting: legs from feet (toes that do a breakdance) up to the waist, arms, forehead, nose, lips (very tickling), eyes, shoulder, hands, fingers that were shaky and thumbs that move on their own and everwhere else i think. Just right now my left thumb goes crazy sometimes. While the places where it twitches differ from time to time the calfes have been a hotspot since it began.I'm still there, still going strong. No weakness, just twitching, some sensory issues and sometimes pain in my calfes, especially in the morning.Disturbing? Sometimes for sure. Annoying? Yes, it is. But that's it, nothing more. Enjoy life.See ya in a year or so ;)Greetings,LevenLevi
