    I used to get that burned feeling on my tongue, pain and irritaiton in my sinus,as well as a soar throat. It was caused by reflux and now that I take ranitadine everyday I don't feel it anymore. I never felt that tightness, but my friend did and his was caused by reflux too. Just a thought...

    it lasts for a few seconds at a time & is very intermittent. Nothing helps except getting up & doing something to take your mind off it. I've twitched in worse places!
