Zanaflex for Leg Cramps: Pros/Cons?

Has anyone taken zanaflex for leg cramps at night? I took my first dose last night and it seemed to make the cramping/fasciculations worse.

I haven't taken anything yet, however, most posts seem to show that it takes a couple of weeks for the meds to do their thing.
