Worrying about Terrible Neurological Disorder

Lately I've been worrying I have some terrible neurological disorder. Along with the usual muscle twitches sometimes a single finger or toe will twitch once, it's very subtle. It's not like my regular twitch which is usually more pronounce and twitches multiple times in the same spot. In the back of mind I'm thinking it's the onset of Parkinson's, or MS, or huntingtons disease, etc. I've never had a neuro exam, which only adds to my concerns. I'm thinking about going back to the Dr. but it's sort of a no win situation. If they find something then my worst fears are realized, if they don't find anything then that just leaves an open question and I will continue to worry.

Kevin,We all have that. The random twitching, and it can hit anywhere. You're fine!! Go to the neuro (or not) - because, unless you have some serious weakness (and not "perceived" weakness) - twitching means nothing. Seriously.Mitra

Oh, and don't worry if you get single big jerks that move a whole limb e.-g. at your ancle or wrist..also that is part of BFS and NOT huntingtons or anything bad

This is pretty standard for me... I have some spots that will twitch multiple times, some that twitch almost non stop, and others that will twitch once and stop. BFS sure is annoying sometimes

My fingers will twitch, a single twitch sometimes, when I'm sitting still, but mostly at night when trying to get to sleep. I can understand your worry, with all that happens with this, those single twitches and jerking bother me the most.
