Worried with Prickly and Tingling Sensations

Okay, I'm worried again! Man, I thought I was over this. My hand is really prickly and tingling constatly all day. What is it?? Also, my shoulder blade on that side is sore, liked I pulled something. Could they be related? It's driving me crazy! I read that it's not extremely common, but that sensory issues can be involved in ALS, not to scare anyone :( Oh yeah, of course I'm still twitching.

Actually, I've been having off and on tingling on the outter left side of my left hand along my pinkie and ring finger, comes and goes. Could be related to a hotspot I'm currently having on the outside of my elbow....not sure though. I looked it up and said it could be some ulnar nerve irritation, which makes sense because my last NCV showed very mild slowing in the ulnar nerve which my doc said could be early carpal tunnel or something. I've also been working out a lot lately, doing pushups, weight lifting, yoga, stuff that puts pressure on the wrist. Gonna ease up a bit and see if it helps. Have you done any lifting or sports or anything that could have irritated or pinched a nerve?? just a thought.....good luck and have a good relaxing weekend.

My left hand tingling was what started all this for me. I was always telling people my hand was all tingly. Then I looked it up and bam that is when all this started. I started twitching soon after. I have been twitching/tingling/buzzing/etc. for 14 months now. I wouldnt worry at all. If you have gone to the neuro and told you were just fine.... trust me you should believe them. If you keep looking stuff up and worrying about every little thing, it will never go away. Oh, and by the way, the tingling in my left hand went away, and after googling, now I have everything!!

Thank you guys for your responses! I hate that other people have to deal with the same thing, but it's comforting to know I'm not the only one. I haven't been working out or anything, although I need to, but maybe I slept on it wrong?? It's been going on for a few days now though. Also, my foot on the same side gets a little tingly too

Twitcher 78: I get tingles at a lot of places, especially my left leg. I had read on one of the *** sites that ALS does not present with sensory problems  There has been a lady posting here who has a mum with *** and she asked her about the sensory things. You might try to find her posts. (Sorry can't be sure of the name, but I think is was ones_MJonesy)Cindy
