Where Do You Twitch 24/7?

Just curious to hear where you all twitch 24/7?I'm not talking about a hotspot, I'm talking about an area that you are sure is never going to stop. Many many people have these in their calves and feet but others have them elsewhere. For example, I've had those dimpling twitches in my calves and feet for 20 months. About 8 months ago, I developed the same type of dimpling twitches (that involve multiple fibers in the muscle) in my elbows and forearms. I can show them to people. Some days they appear 1 every minute, while other days they are *beep* near constant. I'm sitting here at work right now it feels like my forearms are crawling! How about you all? Do you have areas that just never stop?

I don't have any one area that goes 24/7. However I go through spells where a general area seems to be more affected in terms of frequency of twitches than before. Now let's settle on the term hotspotIs a hotspot a twitch that goes 24/7 for a long period of time?Or is a hotspot a stubborn twitch that goes on and off, multiple times a day in the exact same place?Because I am not aware of having the former although I may have twitches that go all the time that I simply don't notice, I don't tend to examine my limbs, however the latter form of hotspot where an area goes on and off for a long time in the exact same area, well I have had plenty of them. They stand out because they are different from my normal pattern of twitches which is totally random with just occassional fasciculations popping once or twice in totally random areas.

Here's my definition of a "hotpot"- a muscle that twitches for an extended period of time without ceasing. From the time the hotpot starts, til the time is stops the twitching can be seen throughout and video'd at any given time. So, literally nonstop. If we went with your second definition, areas on our bodies that twitch off an on throughout the day, then every muscle in my body would be considered a hotspot!-Matt

let's say I feel on average 200 twitches in my body a daywe'll say that 50 of them are in random different muscles and they happen on average 3 times a day - 150 twitchesthen we'll say I have one area that twitches 50 times in the day, not constantly and by that I mean, not every second of every minute, but a stubborn persistent twitch that comes and goes with frequency throughout a day - maybe we should christen that a stubborn twitchas for your definition of hotspots, the longest i would have is a few hours, in eye or thenar muscle or calves, that would be in the strictest sense of never stopping twitching - but these areas would twitch for long periods, relent for a bit and then twitch again for long periodsso a rough estimate on my twitchingrandom "hello" twitches, one quick pop and then they're off again = 65%stubborn twitches, stick around for a while, random pop pop pop pop then pause for a few seconds then pop pop pop pop again, a pattern that may happen five or six times, then may go for a few hours, then pattern will repeat again = 30%hotspots = 5%

My left instep is constant every day, I am not sure if every minute but it is every day (some I don't feel so I am not sure if it is every minute or not). This is the most constant spot I have since october 16th 2011 :-& My foot stil works and I have more problems with the other foot and ankle ;)

Calves and feet, both side. Most of the time if I am busy I dont feel them, but if you look at them, here they are.Frequency may vary from 1 per minute to 1 per seconds.

I have all over my body but mostly calves and thighs ( both )Last 3 days i feel more and more in my arms biceps, triceps, forearm ( both ) and chest

Shoulders. Not that they are twitching non stop but they are easily irritable to twitch and their frequency overall is the highest.

when I sit or lay down, you can bet that you will see and feel them in my calves...........runner up would be feet(never feel those) and buttocks area...my right buttcheck is sore today....that's just crazy

Feet and calves with hotspots that migrate.....earlier this week I had a very annoying strong tricep twitch. Lasted about a day and a half and has now stopped. But the calves and feet are very reliable with the little fine fascics.
