From Oakland CA originally, but live in PA now vie Eugene Oregon for college, Alaska and Colorado for fun, and the Ann Arbor, MI for my PhD.

Hey~~
I just wanted to say that I'm originally from the Bay Area also, my hometown is Millbrae, heard of it? Near San Francisco! I do miss the fresh air there! We're now in Texas, been here for about 15 years now. Much different climate!! Do you get back to the area much? We go out to Lake Tahoe every summer~~love it there!!! It's funny~~talking about health issues~~I always feel healthier out there! Of course, that could be because we are on summer vacation, and doing active, fun things, but alot of it also is the weather, and that we always want to be outside. Not to mention the amount of outdoor things there are do in Lake Tahoe. Really, I think one of the most beautiful places on Earth, if you go to the right places!! SF too~~

Remember there is always a difference from one side of the body to the other we are not really symmetrical creatures just mostly symmetrical 
You will never find more dents and spaces and differences in your body that "were never there before" until you are in a panic and looking. Very likely geodog, you always had this to some extent but just never noticed it before. When we speak about atrophy, it is really hard to miss.
