What Type of Pain Do People Experience?

Im just curious what kind of pain people experience. For me I get two types.1. I often experience the same kind of pain that you experience the day after doing a heavy workout or a long run....you know when the muscles have been broken down by whatever activity it is you have done. Except in my case I havent done anything to cause it.2. Burning sensations that appear to be sensory in nature to me. Though if I touch the area in question sensation perception is normal in that area.

Most of the pain I experience is in my joints--ankles, wrists, fingers, hips, shoulders. Sometimes I get some soreness in my feet and calves as if I've stood in heels all day.

Unfortunately this kind of pain can come with bfs. The good news is that it usually feels better when you get moving, and it is unusual for it to persist over the long-haul. I am an avid exerciser and I experience all kinds of aches that seem to move around. Partly, in my case, it could be age, but I can have a wrist ache one day, and then not the next. It does, indeed, seem to be part of bfs. The burning is temporary, although it can come back through flares. Once, when I got the flu, I had the burning so badly that I could scarcely even move my legs an inch without them getting that horrible lactic acid rush. In fact, it was the first time that I was actually fearful that it might be something else. However, it went away, and I'm glad to say has not come back.I believe in walking as the best thing for both mind and body. I don't walk with an I-pod, either, as I prefer to hear the birds and the meanderings of my own mind.Basso
