Christy,

Hi and welcome (I know you rather not be here), but nonetheless, welcome.

To answer your question, I'm not sure (GREAT ANSWER!)

Others, though, have had the exact same thing (a lot of others here on the board) I THOUGHT I was told that those are not even considered "fasciculations" per se. (when a whole digit moves) Hopefully, someone else will be able to answer your post better than I. Actually, I did have a day when my whole thumb was moving on its own.

I did read a few other posts of yours. For what it is worth, I too, get pains and aches (sp?) that I did not have before the twitching. So do quite a few others. We were just discussing the other day if this could be related somehow to fibromyligia (again sp?)

May I ask your age?

I think the muscles that control fingers and toes are actually higher up in the hands and feet. And when those muscles twitch it can move the whole finger or toe.

Christy:

Hi, just thought I would let you know that I have been "twitching" since Feb 2004. I have had for weeks at a time various toes move. Then it would stop. I always have a constant finger twitch. I don't know what it is called but I do know the feeling of being scared out of your mine. I'm living it. I'm 36 with a 6 year old and the *** terrifies me. You sound like your new to this. I pray your twitching stops and you can get on with your life. Twitching is definetly making my life not my own.

take care

Shae
