Hi all!First off all i want to say i'm very glad i found this forum.I'm 26 years old and i'm from Belgium. In september my doctor send me to the hospital for some tests cause he didn't know why i was tired all the time.I do sports since i was 6 years old so he found it kind of strange that my body was reacting in such a way ( high heartbeat while sporting, almost out of breath after ten minutes of running )the doctor there told me i was overtrained, after doing all kinds of test
On month after that i started twitching in both calves, and soon it went all over my body ( i even twitched in places i didn't know i had muscles
) )Then i googled ,like most people in here, and was in for the scare of my life. I couldn't sleep, eat, i even lost my job cause i couldn't focus anymore. Finally i found this site and i couldn't believe what i read. I was not alone with the twitching and it even had a name
.I went to the doctor and he blew me off and said it was nothing to worry about. Now i'm 7 months into this and i have a great new job, a nice gf and i'm playing basketball again ( the sport of my life
)now i twitch almost bi-lateral in calves and feet with the sporadic twich in shoulder, abdomen, eyelids, lips, head and the occasional hotspot that last a day or two.I still have moments that i doubt my health cause i didn't have a medical exam or EMG.but reading this forum makes me almost certain i have BFS.I hope we'll get along well and i'll try my best to be at your help
If there are questions, feel free to ask
PS: i'm sorry if i made a lot of mistakes English isn't my first languageStijn
