Weird Symptoms - MS Concerns?

It is as Kuma says, there is a pretty vast array of symptoms and some of them are just downright weird. I get weird symptoms and some of them last a few days and some much longer. I have had parasthesia in my left side last for months( i thought MS too, but had a clean MRI),then go away for months, and now it just comes and goes and doesn't worry me much anymore. It's the new symptoms that usually get to me, until enough time passes that I start to relax and get my mind off of it.
I haven't had numbness in my eyelid but I have had it on the left side of my nose now for about a month and a half. The roof of my mouth has an altered feeling too, not profoundly numb, just altered. I am still waiting for it to all go away..........

thanx very much for both replies. Val, have you found many people who have had lasting paraesthesia like you with bfs? Its just, most posts i read say not to worry about migrating numbness, and that ms presents with ongoing numbness type stuff in one spot, which of course made me panic quite a lot as thats whats going on with my eyelid. How did you convince yourself that your symptoms were benign? (Which i'm sure they are, its just even with people telling me that mine are i'm still convinced this is the beginning of ms)

Also, don't spose you know whether sensory symptoms on the face would be caused by lesions on the brain or spine? I have an mri of the brain coming up and would like to know if it would show up on this if ms was causing this weird facial stuff.

I do hear of people talk about parasthesia from time to time. I don't really know how common it is, I just know that I have it quite a bit. The intense panic that I had ALS or MS died down after I had a clean EMG and a clean MRI. That was the proof that I was ok.
With the eye thing, I've heard of people with MS having visual symptoms like losing sight in one eye and then having it return. (I always think of Montel Williams). But I never heard of eye or eyelid numbness. I suppose those people get all kind of strange symptoms too. But my understanding of MS is that if you have more than 2 lesions on the brain they can diagnose it. if there is just one lesion, they are just suspicious of it. And yes those lesions show up on an MRI, that's why my neuro sent me in to have one. I thought for sure they were going to find something, but they found nothing at all. My neuro said even with all the things I had going on with the twitching and electrical zaps and left sided parasthesia, I was perfectly healthy. So I have to believe it! I have come to the conclusion that I am just a strange human being( But my family could have told me that much cheaper!) .
I'm glad you have an MRI coming up, if they find nothing, the peace of mind is priceless. Even if they found something, you could start treatment,MS is treatable. Look at Montel!
And talk to your doctor. Even if you are afraid he thinks your crazy, so what? You ar paying him plenty to sit there and hear your symptoms, so tell him everything, and then let him sort it out.
