I have a weird sensation in both legs, have had for weeks now. It feels kinda like putting a hand on a pipe and then someone turning the tap on. It feels like the vibration \ tremor \ difficult to explain.Does anyone else get this?

Not sure if it's the same feeling but I had something similar. I felt like I had a cell phone, set on vibrate, ringning inside of my left leg. It lasted for a few days and then came and went a few times. I haven't felt it in a while.Jess

I think these kinds of sensory changes aren't uncommon in BFS sufferers and for those of us who at one stage or other have worried about ALS the advent of sensory symptoms is always a reassuring thing in that this clearly never happens with ALS. CheersSimon

Yes sure Angus on and off most of the time ....now i have a buzzing in one place in my inner back of of left thigh....i think it could be sciatica related

Hi JessI understand what you are referring to in regards to the fear of bulbar symptoms - at various times this has predominated my health anxiety too. I think the tongue symptoms you describe sound totally unlike bular palsy, which would cause a cluster of other symptoms all occurring at the same time. I don't know whether others with BFS have had sensory changes in the tongue but I can certainly relate to the vibration/ creepy-crawly feeling... although I have never seen my tongue fasciculate because I have never happened t be standing in front of a mirror at the time, I have always assumed that this was the explanation for what you describe. I think you can safely put bulbar palsy out of your mind - my understanding is that bulbar palsy is barn-door obvious when it happens.Good luck.RegardsSimon

Hi JessAs you say, having three symptoms at once certainly makes it harder to shake off the worry. You have quite rightly pointed out the other reasons why you could be suffering these symptoms and they certainly sound highly plausible... more plausible infact than anything sinister.Good luckSimon
